गुरु ज्ञान ~
दादू नैन न देखे नैन को, अन्तर भी कुछ नाहिं ।
सतगुरु दर्पण कर दिया, अरस परस मिलि माहिं ॥
घट घट रात रतन है, दादू लखै न कोइ ।
सतगुरु सब्दौं पाइये, सहजैं ही गम होइ ॥
जब ही कर दीपक दिया, तब सब सूझन लाग ।
यों दादू गुरु ज्ञान थैं, राम कहत जन जाग ॥

An English translation of a verse (verse No. 117) composed by Maharshi Mehi Paramhans Ji Maharaj taken from his book "Mehi Padavali" (Elixir Verses of Maharshi Mehi).

The Translated Verse:
The Primordial Guru (God) lives in the innermost layer,
but the mind remains clueless. |
Seen is He though not (to eyes of flesh);
in the mid of both eyes His light shines. ||1||
He sits ever beside us, ever within us, but is not manifest. |
Why should He take so long to show up, seekers get restless? ||2||
Looking for Him too many are there, loitering hither & thither. |
Unless the road is known to the innermost layer, none gets to Him ever. ||3||
Save for the compassionate grace of sants, O Mehi, to know this pathway…|
Has never happened, nor will ever happen, isn’t happening anyway. ||4||
